If you are looking to join a dynamic and growing team, Ladner Creek Enterprise has a great opportunity for you We’re looking for a tenacious and motivated **Produce Sales Representative **to join forces with our Sales Team. This role is ideal for that independent hunter to utilize their excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, solutions-driven attitude, and negotiation skills. You will be responsible for selling a variety of fresh produce to clients such as grocery stores, restaurants, and other food service businesses. Your primary goal will be to achieve and exceed sales targets while building long-term relationships with clients.

**Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To**:

- Must have great time management skills and able to multi-task and work well under stressful situations.
- Must be a driven sale professional capable of cold calling and prospecting.
- Able to meet and/or exceed sales goals developed by the management team.
- Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, and distributors to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescales.
- Demonstrates qualities and skills necessary to be self-motivated, aggressive, and disciplined enough to perform job requirements without requiring constant supervision.
- Is resourceful and innovative in acquiring new account information and peruses opportunities to increase sales, either through new accounts, prospects, or existing accounts.
- Demonstrates administrative abilities in managing accounts and service needs.
- Willing to take extra steps and/or time necessary to ensure follow-through on details.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude towards job and accepts correction from management team if mistake is made or constructive criticism is needed.
- Utilizes effective communication skills associated with interacting daily with co-workers and customers. Is positive/constructive with co-workers in addressing any problems they may incur while order taking, picking and or communicating with customers.
- Undertake short and long-term project opportunities for growth for geographical territory expansion.
- Aggressively pursue expansion of Hotels, Caterers, Banquet Halls, Schools, Large Chains, etcand accounts with large opportunities.

**Your qualifications include**:

- Minimum 2 years strong sales and business development background with experience working with major retailers, and national and regional chains.
- Work experience in fresh produce / food industry with a distributor or chain store preferred.
- Understanding Operations-efficiencies and volume minimum to stay cost-effective.
- Effective communication, customer service, and selling skills.
- Marketing background, understanding the retailer and end consumer perspective.
- Post-secondary degree in Business or Marketing an asset.
- Bilingual (English/Mandarin) highly desired.

**Salary**: $33,081.91-$100,086.93 per year
