**GFL Environmental is looking for a Service Writer/Advisor to join our team in Coquitlam, BC**
The Service Writer/Advisor will be creating and monitoring work orders, tracking preventative maintenance repairs and scheduling repairs accordingly. They will also be responsible and perform a range of duties including but not limited to; Entering hours, Filing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports, and ordering/picking up parts as required.

**A day in the life* of a Service Writer**:
- Creating and Monitoring Work Orders (Ensure parts are charged out)
- Planning and scheduling fleet maintenance activities
- Conducting warranty administration
- Completing all paperwork using the Fleet Management Software programs associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
- Performing Vehicle Maintenance including Fuel Dips, Diesel exhaust fluid, and Window Washer Fluid
- Filing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
- Checking Hours and Mileage
- Entering and sending out Oil Samples
- Attaching PMs to Work Orders
**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**:
- Previous experience with trucks would be considered an asset
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience building and maintaining customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization
- Must be able to multi-task, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
- Minimum of a High School Diploma is required
