The Operations Assistant is an integral member of the Association & Affinity Business Team and will have responsibility and accountability to provide a full range of operational and administrative support to the Team. This diverse role will require someone with superior customer service and exemplary organizational capabilities. This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence at least twice a week at Trisura's office in downtown Toronto.
ASSOCIATION AND AFFINITY BUSINESS OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - TORONTO, ON
**As an integral member of the team, you will bring**:
The successful applicant will be passionate, and results-oriented with a strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task effectively, and handle a large volume of requests and transactions. Working closely with the Team’s Underwriters, the successful applicant will be a key part of the overall management and administration of our suite of Association & Affinity Business programs that include such products as Professional Liability, Medical Malpractice, Non-Profit Directors & Officers Liability, and Commercial General Liability.
**Responsibilities**:
- Issuance of various forms of policy documentation.
- Set up and administration of Programs in the underwriting system.
- Orderly maintenance of electronic filing in the document management system.
- Administration related to our online insurance portal.
- Assistance with accounts receivable administration.
- Generation of reports, review for accuracy and distribution to internal and external clients.
- Administration/distribution of various incoming communication.
- Verbal and written communication with our broker partners.
**Qualifications**:
- Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- IT savvy and open to learning new platforms and tools.
- An undergraduate degree in a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of business experience.
- Insurance industry experience is an asset.
- Bilingual English/French is an asset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Motivated self-starter with capability to work productively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A logical, process-oriented workstyle.
