**Position**:Intake Processing Attendant

**Status**:Temporary, Full-Time

**Starting Salary**: $37,353 (Starting) to $45,664 (at 6 months)

**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance and/or instruction to members of the public with the completion of pertinent forms.
- Fingerprint persons and obtain and record all necessary information from persons being fingerprinted to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable legislation and guidelines.
- Receive and process funds related to various records and issue receipts when required.
- Prepare necessary accounting documents in accordance with LPS procedures to be directed to Financial Services.
- File and purge electronic and paper documents according to LPS procedures.
- Other duties as assigned within the core competencies.

**Requirements**:

- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6-12 months’ experience in customer service.
- Problem solving skills and judgement required for problems, situations and responsibilities that are covered by standards, precedents, and procedures.
- Effective communication skills for regular contact with members of the public to give, obtain and/or exchange information with tact and courtesy.

**Benefits**:
Temporary members receive ten percent (10%) of their hourly rate in lieu of benefits (after 120 calendar days), and are also eligible to join the OMERS Pension Plan Plan upon their first day of hire.

**Hybrid Remote Options**:
The LPS is currently operating under a Pilot Remote Work Procedure. This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement following successful completion of training.

**Condition of Employment**:
All London Police Service employees are required to be fully vaccinated (defined as completion of the full vaccination cycle with a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada) as a condition of hire unless there is a valid exemption pursuant to the Human Rights Code.
