Assistant Replenishment Analyst

**Company Introduction**
T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 33 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 11 in Ontario, and 1 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Manager, Central Planning the Central Planning Analyst provides assistance and support to the team by analyzing data and generating reports using database management skills, coordinating with different parties internally and following up on various projects as required.
**Major Responsibilities**
- Review monthly sales/inventory data, analyze abnormal sales history
- Purchase replenish stock in timely manner
- Manage vendors and work with shipping teams to make sure products arrival on time
- Meet replenishment KPIs, maintain purchasing records, and prepare summary and report for statistical analysis
- Monitor forecasting errors and improve forecast accuracies
- Provide feedback on capacity risks and supply issues to merchants and planning partners when necessary
**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or other related disciplines
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in purchasing and/or demand forecast is mandatory
- Strong business sense of retail ideally in food industry
- Strong ability in data analysis
- Analytical thinking and has ability to identify alternatives to solve problems
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, taking initiative and managing multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, intermediate to advance level of Excel and working experience with SQL are essential
- Working experience in any ERP system is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Able to communicate in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset
