**As a Team lead, you’ll be the pivotal member of the team, ensuring your squad’s alignment and engagement with the company and department’s objectives while supporting its continuous value delivery and collaborating closely with the product management team to foster best practices.**

**Main Responsibilities**:
Under the Director of Software Engineering, you will coordinate operations while helping team members map their career development. The team lead will be required to implement change management, support team delivery, conduct performance assessments, hire new talent and find new ways to improve collaboration.
- Implement the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ensure the team uses their time and energy accordingly.
- Develop and align the delivery ecosystem. Help improve processes by collaborating with other team leads and practice leaders.
- Analyze current processes, determine bottlenecks, and actively contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Manage day-to-day operations and the team budget and requests accordingly.
- Ensure optimal team performance by addressing conflicts and proactively managing change.
- Be an ambassador for Lexop culture and values. Lead by example and adopt behaviours that embody our values.
- Communicate, communicate, communicate. Take change management seriously and ensure that all decisions are met with a mutual understanding.

**Bonus skills**:

- Knowledge of Rails 6.0+ and Ruby 2.7+
- A good understanding of product management, ideally in Fintech
- Versed in CI/CD & DevOps concepts
