Home Hardware has an exciting opportunity available for an
**Events Assistant** to join our Communications team. Reporting to our Corporate and Dealer Events Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for our biggest and most important events in Home Hardware’s calendar.
We are looking for an excellent communicator with a keen eye for attention to detail. If you offer strong administrative skills and are looking to kick start your events career, this is the role for you
- **Please note this is a 6-month term role.**

**What you’ll do**:
- Provide administrative support for corporate events.
- Coordinate promotional material and design work.
- Schedule meetings, complete meeting minutes and organize schedule of events.
- Provide administrative office support.
- Other duties as assigned by Events Team.
**What we’re looking for**:
- College Diploma in Office Administration or Events Management.
- A minimum of one to two years’ experience within an administrative or events focused role.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work with interruptions and changing priorities, to ensure deadlines are met.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required.
