Packaging Support

We have an exciting Spring/Summer opportunity for you to work with a global beverage leader in the manufacturing industry The **Summer Packaging Support** crew members are responsible for supporting the Packaging department at our Hamilton brewery.
The successful applicant will perform all tasks safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees while complying with all health and safety standards as well as department policies and procedures.
**Role Details**
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- 8-10 hour shifts
- Morning and afternoon shifts available
- Immediate Start Available
**A typical day as Packaging & Warehouse Support includes**:
- Build stable, secure and accurate pallets by logically placing products
- Constantly manipulating products that can weight up to 25-40 lbs
- Tray Making, Re-Packing, Cleaning, etc., and other tasks as required
- Load/unload trucks as required, including returning stock, pallets, etc. to inventory
- Separate out of date and sellable product to the appropriate areas
**Role Benefits**
- $500 employee allotment card of Collective Arts product and merchandise
- $75 annual credit towards required safety footwear and other PPE
- Employee Pint card: 20 pints per month to be used onsite at our Hamilton or Toronto locations
- Working with a fun and supportive crew
**Physical Requirements**:
- Highly repetitive and/or monotonous tasks
- Carrying, lifting heavy items, transferring, lifting pushing items, operating heavy equipment, maintaining one position for a prolonged period
- Ability to lift 20kgs repetitively throughout a shift
- Standing for long periods of time in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work in a warm temperature environment
- High School Diploma, Professional Studies Diploma or Equivalence
- Currently enrolled in a post secondary program is considered an asset
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience in any capacity, an asset
- Maintaining a professional attitude in stressful situations
- High level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stay focused and remain on task to the product and packaging operations for long periods of time
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime, as required by Production Demands.
