3D Digital Artist Intern Toronto, Ontario

Does the idea of pushing polys sound and global illumination sound more than something primitive and ambient?

Are you an ideas-driven creative at heart, with a highly organized workflow and infectious enthusiasm to not just “get it done” but “make it great”?

We seek an aspiring 3D Digital Artist intern whose creative capabilities are perfectly balanced with their drive for digital content creation. As part of the imagery team you will help support the content creation at Umbra by elevating our imagery through the production of high quality assets.

**What you’ll do **
- Bring life and elevate Umbra’s catalogue of outstanding products by supplementing the asset creation of our 3D content.
- Work cooperatively within the internal visual team to continually improve our 3D library.
- Create targeted content for product launches and go to market campaigns.
- Maintain all aspects of the digital workflow and archiving process including saving files to digital asset server using established file type protocols and profiles, archiving all image files to hard disk daily and cataloging images into Portfolio

**What you’ll bring **
- Attending or graduate from a Post-secondary degree or diploma Program in 3D Arts
- Experience with creating content towards product design.
- 0-1 years’ experience creating animated content in a product design setting.
- Excellent knowledge in one of Cinema 4D, 3DSMax or Maya.
- Exposure with creating 3D assets for use within a larger pipeline.
- Robust understanding of the 3D Pipeline including modelling, texturing, lighting and layout.
