**Job Description**:
Astucemedia, a leading provider of broadcast graphics and channel branding solutions, is seeking an experienced Unreal Technical Artist 3D Generalist with a passion for Virtual Production to join our team, preferably based in Toronto. As our Virtual Production Lighting Expert, you will with the Virtual Production team to create high-quality, optimized 3D content that takes advantage of the latest Unreal Engine features and find resourceful solutions to meet our client’s needs.

Implement art assets and ensure they meet technical and performance requirements in real-time environments.

Create and maintain tools and workflows for art asset creation, optimization, and integration into our Virtual Production solutions

Work with the Virtual Production team to develop innovative solutions that push the boundaries of what is possible in Virtual Production

Create high-end (photorealistic and stylized) 3D environments in Unreal
- Shader development and optimization
- Lighting and Layouts for Unreal Engine environments
- Unreal Engine Stage Operator for the LED wall.
- Texture manipulation
- Asset creation and modification
- Skills: Art - Environment Art - Unreal Engine 5 - Max - Substance Painter - Unreal Engine - Environment Layout - Shader Creation - Scene Optimization - Lighting
- Create visual effects (3D materials, shaders, particle systems)
- Extensive knowledge of Unreal for 2D 3D Animation / Visualization
- Must have experience with Lighting and Shading in Unreal
- Experience creating functional levels in Unreal
- Ability to train in Unreal and graphics being delivered to client.
- Experience with Zero Density, Pixotope, Disguise, Aximmetry, Vizrt is an asset.
- Experience with performance profiling in Unreal
- Understanding of PBR texturing workflows
- 3D software skills (Blender, Maya, Cinema4D or 3D StudioMax)
- Ability to communicate clearly and well organized.
- Ability to travel to client site and work onsite with confidence.
- Ability to observe and pass on clients notes/information internally both from a technical and creative prospective.

**Qualifications**:
At least 3 years of experience in Unreal Engine 3D generalist role, with a focus on Virtual Production and lighting

Experience in creating optimized and visually stunning 3D content for real-time environments

A strong understanding of lighting and its impact on the overall look and feel of Virtual Production projects

A strong portfolio showcasing your skills and experience in Virtual Production and lighting

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
