**About the Risk and Compliance Intern program**:
Reporting to the Governance, Compliance & Risk Efficiency Manager, the Risk Compliance Intern (Co-Op) is responsible to provide assistance with tasks concerning compliance, governance, and Risk related projects. This is a four (4) month placement.

**What will you do?**
- Work as part of the Canadian in-house Compliance Team to support business areas in their duty to comply with internal policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws or regulations.
- Build internal and external relationships for effective collaboration as well as expand professional network.
- Provide support and participate in a wide range of fraud prevention related projects that focus on proactive fraud prevention and detection processes.
- Research a variety of topics to support initiatives of the Compliance department, such as Fraud Awareness, privacy, legislative changes, etc.
- Help update/manage our Intranet Compliance Page.
- Assist with proofreading various types of documents in English and French (such as policies, procedures, communication drafts, training materials, etc.) to ensure grammar and consistency for finalized content.
- Help prevent and detect violations of the corporate code of conduct and support the company’s mission, vision, and values.

**The profile we are looking for**:

- Undertaking a university degree in a business co-op program
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team, while effectively managing time and adapting to changing priorities
- Bilingual French and English
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suite & Internet research
- Ability to nurture and contribute to innovation and creative solutions.
- Strong verbal and creative communicator.
- Motivated, goal driven, and willing to take initiative (think proactively)
- Ability to use creative thinking skills towards meaningful brainstorming outcomes
