**Outreach and Communications Coordinator - Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership**

**Care for Newcomers and Red Deer Local Immigration Partnership are committed to making a positive impact in our community, and you can be part of it W**e’re looking for an **RDLIP Outreach and Communications Coordinator **who will play a crucial role in connecting this collective impact with the surrounding community and stakeholders in general.

- **Passion for Community Engagement**: You thrive on building connections, foster partnerships, and build community consensus, knowledge of newcomer settlement and integration process.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and public speaking skills, ability to work in a team, while with little supervision and understanding of communications strategies with stakeholders
- **Organizational Abilities**: You can manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines, time management skills to coordinate event schedules, locations, and stakeholders.
- **Experience**: 2 years’ experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, and/or a bachelor’s degree in a related area of study, Proficient in Microsoft and Adobe Suites of programs.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- **Public Relations**: Develop and implement an external communication strategy, online presence and marketing, promoting outreach to newcomers LGBTQ2S+ and other equity deserving newcomers, making our Workplace Inclusion Charter a priority.
- **Capacity Building**:Supports successful implementation of key projects in the community. Collect data to identify potential stakeholders, events, and venues beneficial to the organization.
- **Administrative Duties**:Attend and document Central Planning and Immigrant Advisory Councils meetings, reporting on implementation of action plans and support RDLIP stakeholders at community events.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $2,900.00-$3,000.00 per month
