**JOB PROFILE**

Under the direction of the Senior Director - Supply Chain and Logistics, the Sourcing Director's main mandate is to strategically manage the company's supply chain to optimize costs, ensure the quality of purchased products or services, and minimize supply chain-related risks.

**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the company's objectives, including cost management, risk reduction, and the improvement of product or service quality.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities, potential suppliers, and innovative solutions.
- Identify, assess, and select potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, production capacity, and profitability.
- Negotiate contractual agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms in terms of costs, delivery times, and quality.
- Implement initiatives aimed at reducing procurement costs while maintaining or improving the quality of products or services.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolve conflicts, and ensure that suppliers adhere to their contractual commitments.
- Monitor market trends, technological developments, and procurement opportunities to maintain the company's competitiveness.
- Supervise, train, and lead a team of procurement professionals.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- **Have experience in a similar role in manufacturing;**:

- **Have travel experience in Asia;**:

- **Knowledge of the manufacturing of commercial furniture/furniture;**:

- **Experience with a manufacturing employer in the furniture field;**:

- Bachelor's degree in management, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- **Essential bilingualism (spoken and written French-English).**:

- Good knowledge of SAP.
- Strong stress and priority management, ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Expertise in the furniture industry is an asset.
- Team-oriented with a focus on collaboration.
