**Description**:
Round Table Procurement Services (RTPS) provides procurement management and project-based services to clients of all sizes across Canada. RTPS specializes in collaborative procurement programs for groups of like organizations, particularly in the not for profit sector. Our approach focuses on long-term client relationships, front-line staff support and supplier partnership development as the means to drive meaningful, lasting results for our clients.

**Responsibilities/Duties**

This position is initially a 6-month contract maternity leave role with possible extension or conversion to Full Time.

Anticipated projects and duties include:

- Support day-to-day client service activities for a consultant-run procurement program at a large Toronto-based not for profit organization;
- Working with senior procurement management to support the development of new supplier agreements, design other purchasing solutions, policies and processes and evaluation of RFP responses
- Working with client staff to implement and support new supplier agreements, answer questions, resolve issues and provide support;
- Sourcing supplier solutions when required
- Working closely with both the local client and the national procurement consulting team.
- Representing the consulting team in dealing with Toronto-based client staff
- Supporting other RTPS business activities, including
- Research and ideas related to the use of social media to expand the reach of RTPS
- Developing creative marketing solutions to support business development opportunities
- Other duties as required

- General computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in both French and English an asset
- Previous procurement / strategic sourcing experience an asset

**Logistics**
- Reports to: the Principal, Procurement Team (Consultant Partner)
- Hybrid work with 1 day/week on site in client offices in midtown Toronto
- Full time with consulting team, 95% dedicated to single client
- This is a 6-month contract position to fill in a maternity leave, with a possible renewal, extension or conversion to full time employment.
