We are growing rapidly and looking to add an amazing Procurement Specialist to our team.

**The Opportunity**

You are a champion of building positive customer experiences through the effective coordination, purchasing, ordering, and tracking of equipment. You possess a Swiss army knife skillset that is part communication mastery, part organizational wizard, and part can-do attitude. You are as comfortable creating and tracking purchase orders as you are forecasting equipment arrival times to maximize inventory efficiency.

**Reporting To**

This role reports to the Manager of Procurement and/or the Director of Operations

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately prepare and execute purchase orders, communicating effectively and professionally with supplier contacts.
- Work with external partners and internal teams to make necessary adjustments to purchase orders and ensure fulfilment in a timely manner as driven by operational requirements.
- Maximize equipment arrival through efficient management of pre-order holds.
- Actively monitor and address supply/demand related problems, optimizing the inventory pipeline.
- Own the project registration process with vendor partners to maximize equipment cost efficiency.
- Optimize inventory balances throughout multiple warehouse locations, collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, logistics and operations.
- Continually update the status of aging purchase orders and follow-up with partners for information on scheduled shipments.
- Oversee and coordinate flow of information from our partners to internal teams.
- Negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
- Provide support in preparing ad-hoc reporting and data analysis on an as-needed basis.
- Run and manage the RMA process, gathering the required information from internal teams and coordinating with vendor partners to ensure RMA timelines are met.
- Be an expert, proactive, and empathetic communicator; both written and verbal.
- Proactively improve existing processes to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Achieve assigned role and department specific KPIs and metrics.
- Other duties as assigned by your manager or the executive team.
- Proactively develop and maintain positive relationships with all our vendor partners.
- Maintain a detailed vendor contacts and information database.
- With direction from the manager of procurement, maximize vendor incentive and rebate programs.

**Compensation Model and Opportunities**

Compensation is a combination of base salary and a bonus program tied to the achievement of role specific KPIs, 360-degree feedback, and the company’s achievement of financial objectives. There are multiple career path’s available for Procurement Specialist depending on your passions, desires, and capabilities; these can include but are not limited to Procurement Manager, Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, or Project Manager.

**What You Bring**
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 1-3 years of procurement or administrative work experience, prior procurement work experience is highly valued.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Great collaboration skills and a team player
- Capable of identifying issues and problem-solving accordingly
- Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage a high volume of tasks and deadlines.
- Strong fundamental skills in Excel with the ability to navigate through and manipulate large data sets.
- Demonstrated skill in prioritizing multiple responsibilities, tasks and projects simultaneously including ability to shift priorities.
- Adaptable to a fast-changing environment, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
- Vendor and contract negotiation experience is nice to have.
- Working knowledge of ConnectWise is nice to have.
- Knowledge of audio-visual systems and major equipment manufacturers/products is nice to have (Crestron, Microsoft, Poly, Logitech, Shure, Biamp, QSC, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in business or other relevant fields

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
