**Position Details**:
**What you will do**:

- Understand CCG’s insurance environment help the business identify, assess and monitor operational risk
- Lead the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) discussions and provide a sound second line of defense
- Propose appropriate Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), set risk thresholds limits and conduct KRI benchmarking
- Lead internal loss event discussions, advise on risk exposure and remedial actions
- Identify plausible Operational Risk scenarios and conduct Operational Risk Scenario Analysis
- Perform comparative analysis and review the risk assessments and outputs of each of the operational risk management tools
- Assist in rolling out ORM Program components to new entities and provide training sessions
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business unit for operational risk management needs.
- Provide ongoing support to the Third-Party Risk Management process
- Develop or enhance key components of the Operational Risk Management Framework and Internal Control Framework to maintain program consistency with the regulatory expectations
- Working with the corporate insurance broker to ensure adequate coverage is maintained within risk appetite
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on corporate insurance matters, including policy interpretation, coverage analysis, claims management, review of insurance terms in contracts

**Who you are**:

- Bachelors or equivalent degree in Business Admin/Commerce/Finance/Economics/Mathematics/IT/Data Analytics/Computer Science
- CPA, CRM, ARM, CRMP, CIP or any other risk designation is a requirement Experience in facilitating projects/programs that involved cross-functional stakeholders
- Engage, build, and maintain collaborative and productive relationships
- Effectively convey risk-related information clearly and persuasively to various levels of the organization; able to convey complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner
- Adept at analyzing data and information to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks.
- Evaluate risks objectively and propose risk mitigation plans based on data-driven insights.
- Ability to approach a problem by using a logical approach.
- Put customers first and demonstrate willingness and concern for the needs of customers
- understand the business strategies and objectives to enable informed risk assessments.
- Experience in leading projects/programs that involved cross-functional stakeholders
- Prior knowledge/experience of OSFI’s Guidelines for Operational Risk Management
