Overview:
The Lot Attendant/Detailer moves, parks, cleans, and maintains vehicles (including recreational vehicles) for dealerships. In this role you ensure that vehicles on the dealership lot are organized, easily accessible and in a clean condition to show prospective customers.

If you enjoy working with cars and recreational vehicles, and are comfortable with a role that requires outdoor time in all types of weather, becoming a lot attendant/detailer may be a good career option for you

Compensation: $17 - $20/hr. based on experience

Benefits: This position is eligible for participation in the company group benefits plan.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Parking vehicles in assigned spaces.
- Checking incoming vehicles for damage.
- Cleaning incoming vehicles, including recreational vehicles, both inside and outside, to ensure they are presentable.
- Ensuring the lot is free from debris and trash.
- Affixing dealership license plates to vehicles.
- Adding price stickers or signs to new vehicles.
- Replacing sold vehicles with new ones on the lot.
- Helping sales staff to find specific vehicles.
- Bringing vehicles to customers to test drive.
- Maximizing lot space.
- Cataloging and storing car keys for easy access.
- Taking vehicles to mechanics when necessary.
- Replacing batteries within car keys.
- Running errands on behalf of the dealership including but not limited to getting licensing for vehicles.
- Adhering to safety procedures and policies.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

- Attention to detail.
- Problem solver.
- Strong English communication skills required (bilingual English/French preferred).
- Time management skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Driving skills.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year's experience in a customer service role.
- A valid Ontario Driver's License.
