**Role Summary**:
**T**his role plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and sales strategies. Your analytical skills will support data-driven decision-making processes, while your sales acumen will help in identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities. This role requires a balance of analytical prowess, sales expertise, and a keen understanding of our customers and market trends.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the team in servicing client relationships to build trust by focusing on what matters to them, communicating effectively, proactively helping them, and responding with an enthusiastic sense of urgency and accuracy against their day-to-day needs
- Understand the client’s strategies, evolution, and questions and “translate” those needs for the right people and teams and gather the answers needed
- Collaborates with the Client Service and Operations teams to ensure the delivery of insightful reports that are closely aligned with Supplier and Retailer business needs, to the agreed schedule.
- Effectively identify the story behind the data to clearly communicate client and industry insights findings.
- Assist with internal or external presentation of insights where required
- Support the Market Leader in servicing client relationships within assigned Retail and Supplier accounts to build trust through focus on what matters to them, communicating effectively, proactively helping them, and responding with a deep sense of urgency and accuracy for their day-to-day needs
- Get close to the Advantage business model and methodology and work closely with other analysts to map out the story of a client’s performance and support building client deliveries to play back our findings through shared learnings and presentations
- Assist in the development of annual business plans.
- Work closely with the Market Leader by providing key insights affecting business to business engagement to support strategic Business Development initiatives
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry conferences as required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and practices within the company.

**Reporting Relationship**:
This role reports to the Country Manager Canada.

**Who We are Seeking**:
Advantage Group International is seeking an analytical, client-centred Client Service Analyst to join us in our journey of helping businesses be better together.
- 3-5 years of experience in a business analysis and/or sales role, preferably within the Grocery/Retail/Foodservice/Convenience and Gas sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau and/or AI.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, presentations, and industry events.

**Where You will be Located**:
This role is remote (home office based), but with expectation to attend in person events, meetings, conferences etc. We support a hybrid way of work. Location preferred in Toronto or with easy access to Toronto if required.

**Expected Travel**:

- Occasionally meeting with clients within country or region
- Occasionally Toronto Corporate Office
