**This is a 12-month part-time contract position that will report to the GrowWinnipeg Director.**

**Anticipated Start date: April 1, 2024**

**Salary range: $19-21/hour**

**Schedule and hours : Daytime hours with occasional evening or weekend availability (planned in advance with the GrowWinnipeg Director)**

**GrowWinnipeg Volunteer Coordinator will**:
Work collaboratively with a highly dedicated team of professionals guided by the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg’s mission as it _**strengthens and builds Jewish life in Winnipeg, Canada, Israel, and overseas, acting as the voice of the community.**_

**Core Responsibilities**:
**Work collaboratively with the GrowWinnipeg Director to**:

- Develop strategies to recruit additional volunteers (currently a list of 200).
- Establish a communication protocol to ensure the supervisor is well-informed throughout all processes.

**Lead and Manage**:

- Engage with internal and external professionals and lay leaders to enhance volunteer recruitment, expanding the diversity of volunteers for the GrowWinnipeg Program.
- Develop a volunteer appreciation strategy, including facilitating one volunteer appreciation event.
- Develop and report on SMART goals related to portfolio management (numbers of face-to-face meetings, outreach messaging, etc.).
- Provide administrative support to portfolio-related committees.
- Generate lists and reports for data analysis.
- Utilization of the Constituent Record Management (CRM) database as a tool for accurate data capture.
- Utilization of approved systems to keep detailed records of all communications, relevant constituent and volunteer information, and meetings while maintaining confidentiality of all personal information, etc.
- Provide work schedule flexibility for evening and weekend programs and meetings.
- Provide staff backup as needed.
- Other duties as required.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 22 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Secondary School (preferred)
