Rattaché au directeur de l’usine, le directeur de SSE est chargé de fournir des conseils techniques relatifs à la santé, à la sécurité et à l’environnement de l’usine. Le directeur de SSE sera également chargé de développer et de mettre en œuvre des systèmes de gestion de la sécurité de l’établissement. Cela comprend l’identification des dangers, l’évaluation des risques, la planification de l’atténuation et la mise en œuvre du projet, l’élaboration de procédures, les audits de conformité et les rapports de conformité.
Les tâches et responsabilités essentielles comprennent ce qui suit. D’autres missions peuvent être confiées.
- Collaborer avec les leaders manufacturiers, facilitant le maintien de conditions de travail sécuritaires, saines et respectueuses de l’environnement, conformément aux directives des normes de travail et de la CNESST du Québec.
- Collaborer avec le directeur des opérations SSE d’AWI pour l’intégration dans les systèmes SSE d’AWI et les indicateurs avancés.
- Former et sensibiliser les employés aux procédures de sécurité requises, comme les équipements de protection indivuelle, le verrouillage et l’étiquetage, l’ergonomie et les préoccupations environnementales telles que la manipulation des déchets et des matières dangereuses. - Diriger le comité mixte de santé et de sécurité.
- Participer activement en tant que membre de l’usine pour encourager la résolution des problèmes de cause commune et de cause spéciale qui ont un impact négatif sur la sécurité, la qualité, les coûts et la productivité.
- Fournir une assistance technique à l’établissement de manière proactive en matière de santé, de sécurité et d’environnement.
- Établir un calendrier annuel de sécurité.
- Pendre en charge l’enquête sur l’accident ou l’incendie et la gestion du cas ou de la situation, recommander des mesures correctives et gérer jusqu’à l’achèvement.
- Gérer les programmes de gestion des déchets et des produits dangereux de l’établissement.
- Identifier et exécuter les améliorations aux systèmes et procédures de sécurité et environnementaux de l’usine.
- Diriger, gérer et faciliter la réalisation de l’identification des dangers et des évaluations des risques.
- Veiller à élaborer et maintenir la documentation relative à la sécurité des processus pour tous les dangers identifiés, y compris la documentation FDS.
- Identifier les besoins de formation en matière de sécurité et fournir des formations par le biais de ressources internes ou de conseils externes.
- Transmettre les connaissances techniques lorsque cela est approprié pour améliorer la compréhension et la performance de l’organisation.
- Assurer le respect des permis environnementaux de l’établissement ou des exigences de conformité environnementale.
- Faire office de contact sur site en cas de besoin.

**Qualifications**:
Pour effectuer ce travail avec succès, une personne doit être en mesure d’accomplir chaque tâche essentielle de manière satisfaisante. - Compétences efficaces en communication et en présentation.
- Expérience en matière d’enquête sur l’incident, y compris l’analyse des causes profondes et les « 5 pourquoi ». - Connaissance et expérience en matière de conformité à la sécurité comme il est détaillé ci-dessus.
- Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement de fabrication diversifié.
- A démontré sa capacité à atteindre les indicateurs de rendement clés et d’autres objectifs de rendement.
- Approche solide de gestion de documents et de tenue de dossiers avec la capacité d’exploiter la technologie pour soutenir les améliorations, l’exactitude et l’efficacité des processus.
