Bartender/server/hostess/host

Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and organized Bartender/Server/Host/Hostess with exceptional customer service skills to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for our guests creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service, as well as other duties as required.

**Duties**:

- General wait staff duties including table service and bussing
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Greet and seat guests as they arrive
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Basic bartending skills an asset (further training will be provided)
- Barista experience is an asset (further training will be provided)
- Basic food prep and food handling
- Collaborate with other staff as needed to ensure smooth operation
- General cleaning duties before, during, and after shift when applicable

**Requirements**:

- Smart serve certified
- Safe food handler certificate
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Knowledge of POS systems is an asset
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic setting

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)
- Bartending: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve (preferred)
