This key role will see you owning and managing all aspects of a Managed Service offering for a client, from inception to installation. Leveraging strong relationships with Sales, Consultants, and other members of cross-functional teams, you'll act as a point-person and project advocate to ensure successful project completion and results. Typical projects will be of low and medium complexity and risk, incorporating mainstream, legacy and select emerging technologies. However, large, complex projects might be assigned as required.

**What you'll do**:

- Independently manage projects adhering to CDW's project management methodology.
- Validates initial project scope and estimates and manages change order process.
- Ensure all items defined in CDW Statement of Work are delivered and perform quality assurance throughout the life cycle of the project
- Identify and successfully mitigate project risks
- Establish, monitor, adjust and communicate tasks and associated schedule to the project team, remediating when necessary
- Take responsibility for project results and be fiscally responsible to the client, the project and to CDW
- Document outcomes, lessons learned and shares appropriately with colleagues.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices through research, conferences, training seminars and participation in professional associations
- Identify the appropriate documentation (communication plans, schedules/timelines, status reports, quality plan, closure summary, budget, risk plan, etc.) for projects
- Manage the quality and delivery of documentation to clients
- Lead continuous improvement to the Managed Services transition processes and development of enhancements to provide streamlined transition services to clients.
- Lead initiatives to automate transition service tasks within our tools.
- Support the development of a Transition Management team which could support all areas of CDW's Services business

**Must-have**:

- Bachelor's degree or College Diploma in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in delivering IT Projects
- 3+ years of experience in leading projects in Managed Services or Transition Services with cross-functional or multi-vendor teams
- IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification at the Foundations or higher level
- Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian Security clearance
- Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies
- Demonstrated proficiency of written and verbal communication skills (including technical writing and presentations) with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively both internally and externally
- Proven analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with demonstrated negotiation skills and influencing positive outcomes
- Eager to take on new tasks/responsibilities and passion for customer experience, operational excellence, and continuous development
- Ability to work weekends and/or off-hours as necessary to meet clients' needs

**Nice-to-Have**:

- Advanced ITIL Certification at the Practitioner or higher level
- Lean/Six Sigma Belt Certification at the Green Belt or higher level
- Project Management Institute (PMI) certification, such as the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification through the Scrum Alliance Experience
