- Reporting to the Supervisor, Transit Stops, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing maintenance of all TTC surface transit stops. As Transit Stops Technician, you will schedule and assist in conducting systematic reviews of all surface routes to ensure stops are properly marked and display the correct customer information. You will conduct regular field reviews of all transit stops around the City of Toronto to identify any challenge that may impact the safe and effective operation of TTC surface routes.- To this end, you will work with Project Development and Planning staff to review all surface transit stops annually. This involves: identifying and submitting work orders, ensuring accuracy of information available in database, ensuring compliance with accessibility requirements and preparing stop installation work orders. You will conduct field investigations/reviews of transit stops to maintain, audit, and/or replace existing infrastructure to support current and future operations. Conduct on-site investigations, accessibility audits, sightline surveys, state of good repair audits and other field investigations as required to support section tasks. You will maintain detailed notes and technical documentation of all field and technical work for use in operational and strategic planning, risk management, and legal reviews.- As Transit Stops Technician, you will communicate with staff at the TTC and other regional or municipal stakeholders to conduct state of good repair work through preparing, submitting, and verifying work orders and service requests that provide detailed information of any proposed stop pole in relation to any nearby underground utilities or street feature. Operating a non-revenue TTC vehicle in the performance of regular duties and adhere to established safety standards and practices is required. You will be required to occasionally participate in projects on weekends, early morning, or late evening hours. You will also be required to participate in the TTC’s Customer Service Ambassador Program.**What Skills Do You Bring?**:

**What Qualifications Do You Bring?**:

- Your background including completion of Community College program in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician, Applied Sciences or the equivalent, combined with related work experience in a transportation operations environment is integral and will contribute to the success in this role.
- Your demonstrated ability to interpret maps, road construction drawings and other technical documents such as construction and engineering specifications is required.
- Thorough knowledge of the City of Toronto street network and surrounding municipalities is required.
- A valid Class “G” Driver’s License for the Province of Ontario is required
