**THE MEXICAN CORNER IS HIRING - FLOOR SUPERVISOR**
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? The Mexican Corner is looking for a talented **Floor Supervisor** to join our team You'll work closely with the General Manager and Head Chef to ensure the highest standards of service and help create memorable moments for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Liquor & Beverage Management**: Maintain proper stock levels of spirits and food supplies for the bar, working alongside the GM and Head Bartender.
- **Staff Scheduling & Payroll**: Assist with staff schedules and complete payroll spreadsheets, ensuring all HR practices are followed.
- **Inventory Control**: Manage linen, smallwares, and packaging supplies, conducting monthly inventories and tracking usage.
- **Training & Coaching**: Lead, supervise, and train staff, ensuring consistent completion of opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
- **Food Safety Compliance**: Oversee temperature checks, stock rotation, and all Foodsafe standards.
- **Guest Service**: Provide hands-on guest service, including greeting, serving, bussing tables, and handling cashier duties.
- **Team Collaboration**: Contribute to management meetings, discussing equipment, efficiencies, costs, and labor management.
**Skills & Experience**:
- 1-2 years of experience as a manager or supervisor in a high-volume F&B environment.
- Solid knowledge of food and alcoholic beverages.
- Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Publisher) and POS systems.
- Proven leadership and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Knowledge of food service techniques and cost control practices.
- A passion for hospitality and a love for the outdoors
**Requirements**:
- Serving It Right certification (required).
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification (an asset).
- Valid work permit and accommodation for the season.
- Ability to stand and move for 8-10 hours and lift up to 20 lbs regularly.
