**Job Title**: Human Resource Officer

**Reports To**: Director HR
**Job Summary**: The Human Resource Officer will oversee various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a proactive individual capable of handling multiple tasks and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Recruitment and Onboarding**:
- Develop and implement strategies to attract top talent.
- Conduct interviews, reference checks, and background screenings.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- **Employee Relations**:
- Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and professionally.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Organize team-building activities and employee engagement programs.
- **Performance Management**:
- Assist in developing and implementing performance appraisal systems.
- Provide guidance and support to managers on performance-related issues.
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance, offering feedback and coaching as needed.
- **Compliance and Policy Management**:
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- **Training and Development**:
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Conduct training sessions on HR-related topics.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
**Preferred Skills**:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position.
- Office environment with occasional travel for recruitment events and training sessions.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
