Reporting to the Director, Student Development & Career Programming, the incumbent coordinates and implements career related programming and career advising for the Professional Experience Year Co-op program, with a focus and mandate of peer education.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Conducting detailed analysis on program efficiency and student learning outcomes to inform program planning activities
- Overseeing and implementing activities that support educational initiatives, including the development of students and peer mentor learning communities
- Implementing programming to foster students' individual career development process
- Facilitating educational workshops and seminars
- Advising students on career-related matters by providing options and consequences incorporating personal circumstances impacting academic success and an understanding of an individual's background
- Advising students on how to conduct job searches, cover letter and resume development
- Probing for information from students to identify learning and performance needs
- Liaising with stakeholders to coordinate space and resource requirements

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Master's Degree in Adult Education, Higher Education, Organizational Development or acceptable combination of equivalent experience in Recruiting, Learning & Development or Student Services
- Minimum three years related experience in Recruiting, Learning & Development, Leadership Development, and/or Student Services
- Developing and/or facilitating staff and/or student-staff training programs
- Experience developing and executing programmatic assessment

**Assets (Nonessential)**:

- Experience in career advising, specifically for University-level students studying STEM discipline
