**THE TEN SPOT®** exists to make everyone feel like a ten, so they can live their best life ever we’re an international network of beauty bars that provides impeccably executed services in a #clinicallyclean environment. **THE TEN SPOT®** peterborough is looking for an **operations manager** to oversee all operations of our location, ensuring business, guest and employee success.

**what you will do**:

- **build a culture where all our team members feel like a ten;** you set the vibe of the bar, by being an exceptional people manager. you do this by setting expectations, sales goals, staff scheduling, and actively engaging with our team members in ways that are unique to their needs. you have regular check-ins, show a general interest in people’s lives and are not afraid to have difficult conversations and hold people accountable because _we care enough to be candid_. you manage our payroll and scheduling software to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- **drive the business forward;** you are dedicated to _constantly getting better + better_. you understand all the financial details that affect bar success and you know how to strategize to improve sales. you dive into details like retail goal percentages and our bar fill rates and create action plans and monthly strategies to improve them. you act as a role model for others by encouraging additional services, selling memberships and modeling how to educate our clients. you can speak to every single bar detail and number with your franchise partner in a way that supports growth.
- build and cultivate presence in our community; as the ambassador of our bar, you’ll get to know your neighbors and become the expert on our neighborhood, demographic and target client. you’ll represent our brand and boost our visibility through connecting with the community. these relationships and connections provide you with the necessary knowledge to become a trusted community member.
- **maintain an excellent relationship with your franchise partner(s);** you are the trusted lead of the bar. you’ll meet with your franchise partner(s) on a regular basis to provide updates, strategies and ask for help when needed. you’ll work on monthly and quarterly strategies with them to ensure the business is always moving forward strategically.
- **consistently keep an eye on inventory; **you appreciate an organized space with well-stocked supplies because you know that it contributes to an exceptional experience for both guests and staff. as part of this, you’ll be responsible for keeping track of inventory and ordering as needed.
