Prince Albert, Canada Lake Country Co-operative Ltd. Full time

**Reporting to the Wine, Spirits, and Beer Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following**:

- Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
- Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
- Assist in proactively recruiting high-quality employees and lead orientation practices and ensure the administration of human resources policies to develop positive relationships with all employees
- Assist in actively changing marketing efforts, adhere to advertising standards, and contribute input to business unit strategies and goals
- Help develop quality team training and succession plans
- Assist in developing the annual operating budget for Wine, Spirits, and Beer Marquis Road that supports the corporate goals
- Provide direction and oversight to the entire team through coaching, mentoring and performance management
- Grow current customer base, through implementing new programs, and overall customer experience
- Assist in projects outlined within the Business Unit Strategy

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:

- 2-4 years of experience in management in a retail environment, including supervisory experience
- Retail experience in the areas of member relations, selling, OHS, ordering, receiving, and asset maintenance and management
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, and procedures and other operational issues faced by the organization
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, priorities, and execution skills
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays where necessary
- Ability to fulfill physical job requirements, manual labour is required
- Willingness to increase product knowledge
- Bondable
- Serve it Right certificate considered an asset however training will be provided to the chosen applicant
- Must be 19 years of age
- Experience in the liquor industry and retail sales especially in the CRS will be consider an asset
- Sommelier experience or training would be considered an asset
