**NATURE OF THE WORK**

The secretary is responsible for assisting one or more people in carrying out secretarial tasks. In addition, as the secretary you will be required to:
- Entering texts and various data into a computer from manuscripts or various sources and produces letters, tables, reports and other documents;- Receive and transfer telephone calls and provide general information; update records and registers and files, records, and documents;- Relay telephone messages and information of a general nature concerning supply teachers or, more specifically, communicates with parents concerning school attendance;- Compile, verify and enter data;- Use a computer and the necessary software to perform your duties related to word processing, database entry, spreadsheets and in-house programs.

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in a specialty appropriate for the class of employment, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority;- Have a basic knowledge of office automation- Knowledge of the GPI system and Excel software would be considered an asset
