**The Stebbins Engineering and Manufacturing Company** specializes in the design, manufacture, and installation of corrosion resistant linings for pressurized and atmospheric vessels. As a civil/structural specialist, we also design and build reinforced concrete tanks. The range of capabilities we have are focused in industries, such as Pulp & Paper, Mining & Metals, Chemical/Petrochemical Refineries, and FDG/CCS Scrubbers.

Our Ottawa branch, **CANADIAN STEBBINS ENGINEERING & MFG. CO. ULC**, is actively seeking a Accounts/Projects Manager with a university degree in engineering and 2 to 3 years construction work experience.

The Accounts/Projects Manager is generally responsible for business development, managing accounts and managing projects. As a fully competent Engineer, plans and conducts work requiring judgement in the independent evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification of standard technique, procedures, and criteria.

**Responsibilities**:

- Business Development:

- Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth
- Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
- Researching prospective accounts in target markets
- Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients
- Setting goals and developing strategies to meet those goals
- Attending conferences and industry events
- Accounts Management**:Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters**:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
- Project Management:

- Work with internal stakeholders and external clients to define concepts and develop success plans
- Setting and managing client expectations, developing detailed project plans, defining project scopes, and assigning team members to specific tasks.
- Establish specifications for projects based on a thorough review of performance standards, client requirements, and product design
- Schedule and monitor engineering tasks
- Establish testing methods to monitor the overall quality of the project
- Collect and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions
- Regulate policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean working environment for the project team
- Creating accurate timelines and monitor progression of projects
- Solve issues that arise
- Manage cost efficiencies
- Preparing project updates and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
- Performance evaluations and improvement implementations

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Business Development, Account Management and Project Management
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects and construction projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Creative, decisive, and organized
- Ability to develop and manage budgets
- Excellent report writing skills
- Leadership and teambuilding capabilities
- Conflict resolution skills, diplomacy, and tact

- Training experience
- WHMIS 2015 (GHS) experience
- Computer skills - MS Word, Excel, Projects, Outlook and web browsers

**Knowledge**:

- Industrial operations
- Heavy industrial equipment
- Engineering codes and safety regulations

**Education and Licences**:

- Engineering degree
- Valid driver’s license
- First Aid
- Passport
- Security clearance

**Employment Standards**:

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and confidential information.
- Always maintain a professional appearance in manner and attire.
