**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The person in this position will be responsible for receiving product orders. He or she will have to communicate regularly with certain departments, branches and suppliers in order to ensure effective and efficient exchanges by the department.

**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Receiving orders from various departments;
- Communication and negotiation with suppliers for all returned goods;
- Day-to-day management and monitoring of orders;
- Maximising orders to minimise costs;
- Organise and manage product inventory;
- Receiving goods, unpacking, validating, checking prices and forwarding to the appropriate department;
- Ensuring security and access to the warehouse;
- Any other task related to the warehouse.

**WORKING ENVIRONMENT**

Individual workstation, standing at a workstation. Working hours are 40 hours / week day, Monday to Friday as required (1 hour for lunch) and may vary depending on operational requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in receiving and shipping goods;
- Good knowledge of simple arithmetic;
- Fluency in French and basic spoken and written English;
- Concern for and pride in a job well done;
- Ability to work quickly;
- Negotiation skills;
- Ability to effectively manage day-to-day priorities;
- Ability to use judgement and project a professional image;
- Versatility and flexibility in carrying out tasks;
- Willingness and ability to work harmoniously as part of a team.
