IronOak Games is seeking an experienced Character Artist with 4+ years experience working in character design and creation for video games. This is a full-time role for the creation of stylized characters and creatures for a fantasy role playing game. Applicants should possess strong modeling, sculpting, and texturing skills and have an excellent grasp on art fundamentals. The Character Artist plays a vital role in collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure that the visual quality of the content created is of the highest standard.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Working with the Art Director, Animators, and other Artists
- Meeting visual targets and quality standards set by the Art Director
- Providing feedback and critiques to team members through art reviews
- Modeling, Sculpting, and Texturing a wide range of characters and creatures
- Implementing and testing final assets in-engine

**What we are looking for**
- 4+ years experience in modeling and character art
- Experience with Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Photoshop
- Basic knowledge of Rigging and Skinning
- Knowledge of the latest industry-standard tools, workflows, and techniques including physically based rendering
- Ability to create stylized characters and creatures that adhere to a specific style set by the Art Director
- Clear communication and the ability to offer and receive feedback
- Eagerness to learn and share knowledge

**Helpful Skills**
- Knowledge of the Unity Game Engine
- Concepting and sketching skills
- Familiarity with For The King and For The King II
- A love for tabletop, roguelikes and RPG world building
