This is a 5-6-month mandate in La Paz, Bolivia.

The mandate is under the Equality in Action Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP), which takes place in 14 countries and 3 regions over a seven-year period (2020-2027). The VCP aims to increase the involvement of local partners in developing countries in inclusive, innovative and sustainable development initiatives that will advance gender equality. Oxfam's role is to support these organizations, working with the most vulnerable and marginalized people, to claim and exercise their rights. Oxfam places the rights of women, girls, and vulnerable and marginalized people at the heart of everything it does.

**Here’s what your daily life will look like**:
In close collaboration with Oxfam’s in-country team members, your mandate will be to:

- Elaborate and develop a policy on sexual misconduct prevention, including sexual exploitation, harassment and abuse, for Oxfam staff in Bolivia;
- Elaborate and develop an institutional policy on sexual misconduct prevention for the local partners organizations;
- Design and lead the implementation of a training program and workshops regarding sexual misconduct prevention, in order to strengthen the capacities of the local partner organizations.

**For this mandate you must**:

- Be a Canadian citizen or have permanent resident status in Canada;
- Have university degree in psychology, sociology, or any other relevant field;
- Have 3 years of relevant experience in elaborating and/or implementing policies on sexual misconduct prevention for NGO’s;
- Have relevant experience in supporting victims and survivors of sexual misconduct;
- Be fluent in Spanish, spoken and written (required);
- Have excellent writing skills;
- Master the Office Suite.

**Bolivia - **Consejero**-a en prevención de conductas sexuales inapropiadas**

Se trata de un mandato de 5-6 meses en La Paz, Bolivia.

El mandato es parte del Programa de Cooperación Voluntaria (PCV) de Igualdad en Acción, que se ejecuta en 14 países y 3 regiones durante un período de siete años (2020-2027).

El PCV tiene como objetivo aumentar la participación de las socias locales en los países en desarrollo a través de iniciativas de desarrollo inclusivo, innovadoras y sostenibles que promoverán la igualdad de género. El papel de Oxfam consiste en apoyar a estas organizaciones, trabajando con las personas más vulnerables y marginalizadas, para que revindiquen y ejerzan sus derechos. Oxfam pone los derechos de las mujeres, las niñas y las personas vulnerables y marginalizadas en el centro de todo lo que hace.

**Esto es lo que será su vida diaria**:
En estrecha colaboración con los miembros del equipo de Oxfam en el país, su mandato consistirá en:

- Diseñar y desarrollar una política de prevención contra las conductas sexuales inapropiadas, incluyendo la explotación sexual, el acoso y el abuso, para el personal de Oxfam en Bolivia;
- Diseñar y desarrollar una política institucional de prevención contra las conductas sexuales inapropiadas para las organizaciones locales socias;
- Diseñar y dirigir la implementación de un programa de formación y talleres sobre la prevención contra las conductas sexuales inapropiadas, para reforzar la capacidad de las organizaciones locales socias en Bolivia.

**Para este mandato usted debe**:

- Ser ciudadano.a canadiense o tener la condición de residente permanente en Canadá;
- Tener un título universitario en psicología, sociología, o cualquier otro campo pertinente;
- Tener al menos 3 años de experiência pertinente en el diseño y/o el desarrollo de políticas de prevención contra las conductas sexuales inapropiadas para ONG;
- Tener experiência pertinente en el apoyo a víctimas y supervivientes de conductas sexuales inapropiadas;
- Poseer el dominio del español, hablado y escrito (obligatorio);
- Poseer el dominio de Microsoft Office.
