**About the job**:
The Staff Consultant role at Cardinal Path is designed for people who have some exposure to digital analysis or digital business intelligence but really want to grow existing skills and learn new skills. Areas of growth include (but are not limited to) data visualization, data science, customer analysis, and testing strategies.

In this role, you will work with industry experts and world class clients. We will teach you our analytic methodologies which will be executed through both automated reporting and ongoing analysis. You will report to an Associate Director, Analysis and Insights.

**Qualifications**:

- You will document and critically assess the client's business and analysis questions; develop complex metric guides to answer these client queries
- You will grow positive client relationships and trust through strong work and timely responsiveness
- You will understand the infrastructure whereby data is collected, either on a website or via media tools; use debugging tools regularly
- You will lead data pull methodology from various web analytics and media analytics tools
- You will develop visuals to explain data trends, either via dashboarding or data visualization tools
- You will provide deep analysis of data; extract & communicate a 'data story', inclusive of visuals, to answer the client's business needs
- You will develop clear, effective, on-the-fly communications in response to client queries
- You will serve as a mentor to entry-level team members

**Required Skills**:

- You will possess a Bachelor's degree (quantitative field preferred)
- You will have 2 - 3 years of business analysis focusing on performance optimization
- You will have 2 - 3 years of continuous work with digital analysis tools, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- You will have intermediate skills experience in SQL
- You will have 2 to 3 years working in a professional services organization, such as an advertising agency, media agency or management consultancy
- You will have 1 - 2 years experience presenting analysis and insights to stakeholders/clients
- You will have excellent communication skills including verbal, written and data visualization
- You will have very strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- You will manage time effectively across competing priorities
- You will identify issues and escalate them

**Additional Information**:
The salary range for this position is $60,000-$75,000. Actual salary within the salary range will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, and skills. A range of medical, dental, RRSP, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available to all permanent employees.
