District Sales Manager

**Clean Harbors **is looking to hire an experienced** District Sales Manager **for our **Delta, BC **location. The District Sales Manager is responsible to maintain and manage the existing customer base, to grow profitable new revenue and customers within a district; and is responsible to manage all Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Sales Specialists in British Columbia.

- Promote revenue and margin growth; drive new sales revenue within the District; understand market and report market and competitor trends; attend customer meetings and provide coaching, build and participate in bid strategies, monitor sales team performance to KPI goals; roll out Corporate initiatives, lead weekly team sales meetings, lead quarterly business reviews,
- Ensure customer satisfaction; promote communication and coordination between operations and customer service to deliver exceptional service to clients; handle disputes and conflicts and troubleshoot with clients (when requested); support contract and relationship management; support collection of invoiced revenue from customers.
- Develop talent; identify, recruit, and retain talented Account Managers, Sales Representatives and Sales Specialists; manage performance of and coach AMs, Specialists and Sales Representatives; lead weekly performance management meetings; track activities through a CRM tool, uphold and role-model corporate values.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar role;
- Post secondary Chemistry or Environmental Sciences background preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; experience working in a large multi division company is an asset.
- Understand financial reports; ability to use analyses to drive decision making.
- Chemistry, Environmental, Industrial, Field Services Industry knowledge is preferred,
- Relationship building skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Understanding of Sales Cycles, Sales planning, and Sales administration required.
- Ability to travel overnight. Estimated 15-25% -Vancouver Island, Lower Mainland, Northern BC.
