The Northern Alberta YMCA is looking for a Wellness Coach to deliver high quality customer service in the Workout Centre areas. The Wellness Coach will provide active supervision of the Workout Centre and its patrons, perform regular cleaning duties and equipment maintenance and role model customer service excellence at all times.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Circulate and supervise activities in the Workout Centre to ensure all members have a safe and enjoyable workout, monitor member behavior in accordance with the Health & Safety Policy, Child Protection Policy and Staff Abuse policy, act on issues that may arise to guarantee a positive experience for those in the Centre.
- Perform regular cleaning of fitness equipment and complete minor equipment maintenance as required.
- Perform Workout Centre orientations as required, answer member questions and provide accurate information.
- Always offer high quality customer service when working with members, engage with members, develop positive relationships and offer support. Work with them to help them reach their fitness goals.
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with volunteers and colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Support the branch by acting as Duty Manager when required.

**What You’ll Need for This Job**
- Post-secondary education in a related field (physical education, personal training or exercise science) is considered an asset
- Certified Personal Trainer (YMCA Personal Trainer, CSEP - CPT, CanFitPro Personal Training Specialist, ISSA Personal Trainer) is considered an asset
- Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C is required
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector check
