Administrative Assistant

Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for the clinic and/or managers

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
- receive and direct visitors and clients
- general clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
- resolve administrative problems and inquiries
- coordinate and maintain records for staff, telephones, and petty cash
- light cleaning duties
- book appointments and manage the clinic schedule for multiple practitioners
- daily billing to insurances and invoicing for patient payments

Hours

Monday to Friday; M -Th 1030-730, F - 9-5

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
