The Clinical Specialist (CS) will primarily support field sales in the Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic and related departments. This position requires teamwork and strategic planning with the Sales and Education teams. The focus of the CS is to be a resource to the Sales team, physician, OR and perioperative staff. The CS must be able to train and support the physician and their staff in various procedures and support them technically in the O.R., and other areas and during follow-up patient care as required.

Le Spécialiste Clinique (SC) soutiendra principalement les ventes sur le terrain dans les départements de chirurgie cardiaque, thoracique et connexes. Ce poste nécessite un travail d'équipe et une planification stratégique avec les équipes des ventes et de formation. L'objectif du SC est d'être une ressource pour l'équipe des ventes, les médecins, le bloc opératoire et le personnel périopératoire. Le SC doit être capable de former et de soutenir les médecins et leur personnel dans différentes procédures et de les soutenir techniquement en salle d'opération, ainsi que dans d'autres domaines et pendant les soins de suivi aux patients, selon les besoins.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION**:
- Training of surgical OR staff personnel in the use of company devices
- Guidance and support for physicians during live surgical cardiac ablation procedures, cryo nerve block procedures, and utilization and/or operation of company technology
- Conduct training for the physician and medical staff with modalities such as didactic and hands-on laboratory approaches
- Make calls on physicians and support staff as necessary to discuss AtriCure technology, training programs, and clinical programs and trials
- Work in a team environment with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering
- Communication on frequent basis, reporting on case notes and product and clinical feedback
- Responsible for satisfying the requirements for hospital account and credentialing processes

- Contacter les médecins et le personnel de soutien au besoin pour discuter de la technologie AtriCure, des programmes de formation et des programmes et essais cliniques
- Travailler dans un environnement d'équipe avec les ventes, le marketing et l'Ingénierie
- Communication fréquente, rapportant sur les notes de cas et la rétroaction clinique et relative aux produits
- Responsable de satisfaire aux exigences des processus des comptes hospitaliers et de leur procédure d’accréditation

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience
- 2 plus years healthcare, surgical, or OR experience
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with people across all levels
- Computer and presentation experience with Microsoft programs such as PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Problem-solving / trouble-shooting skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%, dependent upon territory
