Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing, well established medical device leader as a bilingual Clinical Specialist for Aortic Intervention in our Vascular Division at Cook Canada.

The Clinical Specialist provides clinical support for Cook’s Aortic Intervention product line through direct physician interaction, medical staff education and procedural consultation. The Aortic Intervention division of Cook Medical focuses on the Endovascular treatment solutions for abdominal and thoracic aortic disease. The product line includes endovascular grafts and accessory devices (wire guides, catheters, dilators, introducers, and molding balloons) to support implant procedures.

Le/la spécialiste clinique apporte un soutien clinique concernant la gamme de produits d’intervention aortique de Cook par le biais de l’interaction directe avec les médecins, de la formation du personnel médical et du conseil en matière de procédures. La division d’intervention aortique de Cook Medical privilégie des solutions de technique endovasculaire pour traiter les maladies de l’aorte abdominale et thoracique. La gamme de produits comprend des greffes endovasculaires et des dispositifs accessoires (fils-guides, cathéters, dilatateurs, introducteurs et ballonnets) pour les interventions d’implants chirurgicaux.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides clinical support during procedures
- Educate and update customers through in-service training, literature, videos and articles approved by the company
- Identify, establish and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision makers to clinically support company product lines
- Maintain frequent communication with the sales team, Regional Sales Manager and other support functions
- Maintain accurate and timely reports and records
- Keep current on the Canadian Health Care environment
- Comply with all company policies
- Travel is less than 25%
- This is not a sales position
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
throughout various levels of the global organization to achieve company
goals
- Must strictly adhere to safety requirements
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must maintain company quality and quantity standards
- Must have effective oral and written communications throughout various
levels of the global organization
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with mínimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
- It is a requirement that Cook employees in this position must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19 and that they must also agree that while employed in this position, they shall also receive any future vaccinations and/or booster shots which may be recommended by a Public Health Authority regarding COVID-19 and/or any other potentially pandemic causing virus. - S’informer des évolutions de l’environnement des soins de santé au Canada
- Se conformer à toutes les politiques de l’entreprise
- Les déplacements constituent moins de 25 % du poste
- Il ne s’agit pas d’un poste dans la vente
- Doit collaborer et interagir de manière efficace et professionnelle avec ses collègues
à tous les niveaux de l’organisation mondiale afin d’atteindre les objectifs
de l’entreprise
