**Role Intro**:
ABCO is presently seeking a **Material Coordinator** to join our growing team. Reporting to the Stock Room Lead, the Material Coordinator will be responsible for the distribution and identification of raw materials and stock. The Material Coordinator will also be responsible for the organization and maintenance of the inventory storage areas.

**Typical Workday**:

- Assisting the Shipper &Receiver with loading & unloading and inspection of shipments.
- Identifying and storing incoming materials in a timely manner.
- Moving incoming items by forklift to designated storage areas.
- Unpacking and distributing incoming stockroom items to proper storage locations.
- Monitoring storage activities to ensure stock is organized and easily accessible.
- Assisting with kitting of stock and direct charged items.
- Weekly stock checks of raw materials as requested.
- Ensuring proper spacing in storage areas for incoming shipments.
- Ensuring inventory storage areas are cleaned and maintained at all times.
- Become k020nowledgeable of all stocked materials.
- Assisting in distributing parts /stocking items / tools to internal customers.
- Assisting with stockroom maintenance (cleaning inside and outside).
- Performing cycle counts on a timely basis.
- Take part in year-end counts and general inventory procedures.
- Responsible for following all company Standard Operating Procedures.

**Work Environment**:

- On-site.
- Traditional business hours.
- Majority of time in inventory areas within the stockroom and fabrication shop.
- Collaborating with various departments and team members.
- Training/mentorship provided.

**Requirements**:

- Warehouse and inventory control experience an asset.
- Proficient in Outlook, MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Must be a team player.

In this role you will be a member of a well-established team, gaining experience at a medium sized company offering exposure to four distinct manufacturing branches.
