MetalCraft Marine is a builder of high-performance aluminum workboats that are sold around the world. Located in Kingston ON, we have an immediate opening for a person that can both drive truck (A-Z license is an asset - day trips) and assist in managing our stockroom when not driving the truck. Typical split of duties would be 40% driving and 60% in shop

In this key position, your main responsibilities will include:

- Shuttle boats and parts between our various production facilities in Kingston and in upper NY State.
- Receiving parts ranging from small boxes to large engines when they are delivered to our facility in Kingston.
- Entering part receipts into our computer database and labelling the parts accordingly so that we know what we have on hand and where it is.
- Line feeding the various boat building teams with the parts they require, when they require them.
- Initiating purchase requisitions for various stock items and operating supplies.
- Managing the company’s Kanban inventory replenishment system
- Assisting in the movement of boats and parts throughout the city and occasionally between our shop in Cape Vincent NY and Kingston ON.
- Safety is an absolute priority

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years in truck driving experience towing a trailer
- Knowledge of boats would be a definite asset.
- 3+ years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- 3+ years forklift truck experience.
- 3+ years of inventory management experience
- Strong computer skills including experience working with an ERP system.
- Strong organization skills
- Valid passport and driver’s license.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
