Warranty Administrator

Carhub Automotive - with Chrysler locations in Thornhill and Bolton, is looking for an Experienced Warranty Administrator/Internal Service Advisor to join the team.
The role is of the Warranty Administrator is crucial in maintaining positive relationships between the dealership and manufacturer, and ensuring proper reimbursement for warranty-covered services. The role of the Internal Service Advisor (Service Liaison) is key to coordinating deliveries and a quick reconditioning turnaround. Both duties contribute to the overall efficiency of the service department.
**Job duties - Warranty**
- **Warranty Claims Processing**:_
- Receive and review warranty claims submitted by service technicians/advisors.
- Verify that the claimed repairs or replacements are covered by the Manufacturer.
- Generate reports on warranty claims, approvals, denials, and other relevant metrics.
- Keep detailed records of warranty-related transactions and activities.
- Ensure all required documentation in kept on file, eg: service records and parts receipts.
- Maintain open communication channels with Manufacturers to address any issues or discrepancies in the warranty claims.
- **Database Management**:_
- Maintain a comprehensive warranty information database, including vehicle identification numbers (VINs), warranty start and end dates, and repair history.
- Update records regularly to reflect the latest warranty status and service transactions.
- **Quality Control**:_
- Monitor the quality of repairs and services performed under warranty to ensure they meet the manufacturer's standards.
- Investigate and resolve any issues related to warranty claims, such as denied claims or disputes.
- **Continuous Improvement**:_
- Stay informed about changes in warranty policies and procedures set by manufacturers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the warranty process.
- Provide training to service department personnel on warranty procedures and documentation requirements.
- **Compliance**:_
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to warranty administration.
- Adhere to manufacturer-specific guidelines and policies.
Job Duties - Internal Service Advisor/Liaison
- Schedule internal vehicles through the shop ensuring the reconditioning is performed within company standard times.
- Close out all internal work orders daily, checking costs, and following dealership pricing guidelines.
- Call vendors for sublet work, prepare sublets and invoices for accounting.
- Check for “off-make” vehicle warranty coverage, and schedule vehicles at 3rd party vendors.
**Salary**: $47,500.00-$70,000.00 per year
