**Job Description**:
- Position Summary:_
- The People Development & Retention Coordinator works in collaboration with team members to provide support on the development, organization and delivery of training courses, leadership events, eLearning modules, and related materials to support education initiatives aligning with the organization’s strategic plan and core competencies. As the central point of contact for assigned People Development and Retention matters, this position provides suggestions and recommendations regarding continuous improvements for training processes and systems to enhance productivity and ROI._
- This position must be able to project plan, and execute, on large training events of either in-person or virtually. This requires knowledge of procurement practices, working with facility vendors, and training delivery vendors. _
- In addition, the People Development Coordinator plays a key role in the execution of the TEAM RVH recognition and retention strategy, working closely with various teams to oversee the planning, development, and execution of employee recognition events._
- Education:_
- _Post-secondary diploma (minimum of 3-year)_ or University degree in a related field, or comparable experience _
- _Teaching/Training Adults Certificate an _asset._
- _eLearning Professional Certification an asset_
- Experience:_
- _Minimum 3 years adult teaching/training _experience, employee engagement, recognition, event planning and/or organizational behaviour preferred or comparable experience._
- _Experience in the development of courses, materials and presenting to adult learners including eLearning course design and delivery._
- _Minimum 3 years’ experience in planning and executing large) participants in virtual or in-person training events and events management._
- _Knowledge of procurement practices an asset._
- _Proficiency working with several teams simultaneously._
- _Experience in collaborating with outside vendors._
- _Communication/graphic design skills an asset_
- _Experience in a healthcare setting is an asset._

- _Proficient written/verbal communication skills_
- _Handle potential issues that may affect the schedule timeline and implement creative and practical solutions quickly and effectively._
- _Ability to resolve conflict and handle emotionally charged conversations and group facilitations._
- _Demonstrated confidentiality and adherence to privacy legislation._
- Responsibilities:_
- People Development_
- _Project plan, and execute, on large training events either in-person or virtually. This requires knowledge of procurement practices, working with facility vendors, and training delivery vendors._
- _Manage the contract with related education and training vendors. This includes purchasing agreements, inventory management, budgeting, and continuous monitoring of changes in course delivery to update trainer material. _
- _Organize and maintain trainer certifications, ensuring renewals do not expire or overlap._
- _Responsible for delivering regular training to internal and external learners as required. _
- _Administer the Learning Management System _(LMS) and provide ongoing technical and reporting support as required._
- _Work in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to consult and obtain information required to develop and assign training content._
- _Coordinate assigned large corporate projects _(i.e., LMS relaunch, marketing, Regional Partnerships, leader events)_
- _Attend client meetings and assist with determination of project _requirements._
- _Assist in the drafting and issuance of project proposals,_ LTAF’s, _RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules._
- _Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets, and expenditures._
- _Overall responsibility for managing, coordinating, tracking, reporting, responding to inquiries for the Educational Trust Fund (ETF). This also includes maintaining the Education Trust Fund policy and providing recommendations on continuous improvement. _
- _Coordinate and maintain the Learning Academy SharePoint site using HTML _coding.
