Job description

The Property Manager will have the knowledge and skill set to maximize asset value, while providing superior customer service and employee relations skills. Responsibilities:
Attend at property sites on a daily basis to conduct condition assessments, assess tenant complaints, resolve maintenance issues, monitor and provide direction to building staff.

Maintain excellent resident relations. Monitor the completion of maintenance work orders. Oversee rent collection and arrears. Conduct regular in suite, vacant unit, building, grounds and in suite inspections.

Ensure timely preparation of information and other written documents/material as required for implementation of managerial activities Ensure and maintain effective and on-going communication with individuals and groups involved directly or indirectly with the day-to-day management of the properties, including but not limited to human resources, marketing, maintenance and senior manager(s).

Key Requirements:
Minimum five years proven working experience as a residential rental property manager with full understanding of residential property management and its financial aspects. In depth knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA) Good knowledge and understanding of building systems (HVAC, Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical) Strong people management and excellent leadership skills. Ability to motivate and engage staff to perform to the best of their abilities.

Competency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi Voyager.
