As a Membership Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling club memberships to prospective members. Your primary objective will be to engage with potential clients, showcase the club's unique features and benefits, and ultimately close membership sales. You will also be involved in building and maintaining relationships with existing members, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging referrals.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in sales or membership-based organizations is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

What will you be doing?
- Maintaining solid product knowledge and sales abilities
- Performing cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential members to meet their needs
- Presenting, promoting and selling products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective members
- Establishing, developing and maintaining positive relationships with members
- Touring potential members around the club, educating them on how we can support them toward achieving their overall health and fitness goals
- Creating a plan for new member success, leveraging appropriate Club service offerings
- Building and maintaining member relationships through consistent member follow-up
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of Jonas software, registration systems and POS for billing
- Preparing monthly sales reports as required and investigating billing inquiries
- Maintaining efficient and organized filing and electronic document system in the Membership Department
- Promoting existing and new programs within the Club, working with all departments for timely promotion of events through the Club communications vehicles
- Providing information on programs and special events to members
- Completing Incident Reports as required and following-up with appropriate Members and Staff
- Responding to all Member and Staff inquiries
- Ensuring the membership office environment is well presented and tidy
