**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Operations Specialist will be responsible for scheduling Service Crew work, Monthly Maintenance activities and allocating field resources. You will approve Service Activities daily and monitor KPIs including Service Activity completion, budget performance, and customer satisfaction.

In a role that is key to the effective operation of Selco’s Maintenance division, the Operations Specialist will ensure work is completed in a timely manner and will document repair-related issues. You will use good judgment if there is a need to escalate to the Account Manager.

Your day-to-day work includes contacting field Mechanics, clients and Account Managers to ensure excellent service and client care through a documented maintenance program. You are someone who works collaboratively and respectfully with everyone, has critical thinking skills and a demonstrated make-it-happen attitude.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Plan and schedule Service Crew work
- Manage completion of Monthly Maintenance work
- Assist with day-to-day resource scheduling
- Assist with Interim Maintenance route administration
- Approve completed field work daily
- Keep a company-wide database up to date
- Complete Client reporting requirements
- Support renewals of maintenance contracts

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years’ experience scheduling/planning trades maintenance work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to deal with unique situations requiring out-of-the-box thinking to resolve
- Proven ability to process a high volume of work with meticulous accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to multi-task effectively, occasional with competing priorities
- Demonstrated highly effective teamwork skills
- Experience working in a Union environment

**POSITION DETAILS**
- Type: Permanent, full time
- Compensation: $50,000/yr.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:30am to 4:00pm, with flexibility to meet project deadlines
- Start Date: Immediate
- Benefits: Extended Health

**REQUIRED CONDITIONS**
- Legally eligible to work in Canada
- Can reliably commute to work every day
