NetEase Games (Montréal) is currently looking for a Facility Operations Manager on its behalf to oversee the day-to-day operations of all facility-related activities within the organization. This role ensures that the physical infrastructure, equipment, and services are well-maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. The Facility Operations Manager will manage the in-office experience of current local teams, coordinate with vendors, and implement strategies to improve facility operations and reduce costs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Facility Maintenance**: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire/life safety systems.
- **Team Management**: Manage teams including maintenance staff, custodians, and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- **Vendor Management**: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, performance evaluation, and ensuring service levels are met.
- **Budget Management**: Develop and manage the facilities budget, including tracking expenses, optimizing costs, and forecasting future needs.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections, and implementing safety protocols to protect employees and visitors.
- **Space Planning and Utilization**: Collaborate with department heads to plan and optimize the use of office and facility space to meet the organization's needs.
- **Project Management**: Lead and manage facility-related projects, such as renovations, relocations, and new installations, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.
- **Emergency Response**: Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, including disaster recovery, evacuation, and business continuity plans.
- **Sustainability Initiatives**: Implement and manage sustainability initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint, including energy efficiency programs, waste reduction, and recycling efforts.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and present regular reports on facility operations, including performance metrics, maintenance schedules, and budget status to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager, LEED Accredited Professional) are a plus.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- **Technical Skills**: Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and safety regulations. Proficiency with facilities management software and tools.
- **Project Management**: Proven experience in managing large-scale facility projects, including renovations, relocations, and new installations.
- **Budgeting**: Experience in developing and managing budgets, with a focus on cost control and financial efficiency.
