**Content Creation Specialist**

As an Atlantic Canadian leader in innovation and design, Enginuity is seeking a full-time Content Creation Specialist to join our Business Development team. Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will play a vital role in the continued growth and success of the Enginuity team, our partners, and our clients.

As an engineering design company, Enginuity lives and dies by the work we complete for clients. Telling the story of what we do and how we do it is a powerful way of driving business, promoting our clients, and ensuring that Enginuity is the company that comes to mind for future projects. We have four “programs” that match the needs of Atlantic Canadian Business: Aerospace/Defense, Industrial/Marine, Industry 4.0, and Product Development.

As part of the Business Development team, your output will often be potential clients’ first impression of Enginuity. Your role will be to collaborate with colleagues to capture the essence of the business for others to understand, to foster conversations with our target market, and to drive strategic marketing direction.

**You Will**:

- Maintain the Marketing Calendar throughout the year, working with the Business Development Team you will prioritize specific stories to match business need,
- Track marketing strategy results closely and adjust our messaging accordingly,
- Work with the team to establish a content strategy for each of the four programs,
- Work with internal and external resources to craft the right content,
- Build a rapport with clients to understand their challenge and how we have helped them,
- Discuss projects with internal project staff to understand the “story” of what we did, why it’s special, and how it made a difference for our clients,
- Use your intuition as well as resources to research the backstory and find the right angle,
- Define and agree on a project brief for each story,
- Write the story,
- Work with the team to come up with content ideas, graphical support, and media to support the story, and

**You Have**:

- At least 3 years’ experience in a technical marketing role, and
- A degree in Marketing, PR, or Journalism (although attitude and experience always trump education).

Experience with content creation tools would be an asset. Our current technology stack includes:

- WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and Canva.

**Hours of Operation**:
Business hours are between 8 am and 6 pm. At Enginuity, we offer the option of flexible work days. As long as you complete your 8 hours of work and attend scheduled meetings during core business hours, we will likely support your altered work day. We also have several remote desk options within the Innovation Ecosystem (Dalhousie ideaHUB, C.O.V.E., ThePIER, Ignite Labs).
