**Job Description: Social Media/Design Specialist**

**About the Role**
As our Social Media/Marketing Specialist, you'll manage social media channels for multiple individual agents and drive our marketing efforts. Your goal will be to boost brand awareness, enhance the promotion of property listings and agents, increase traffic, generate leads, and support agents in marketing themselves and their properties. You will also work closely with the Marketing Director and the Marketing Coordinator on content creation and digital/print marketing initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Social Media Management**: Handle multiple agents' social media accounts, including posting content and managing communities.
- **Content Creation**: Collaborate with our creative team to produce engaging social graphics, videos, and advertising content.
- **Event Coverage**: Document and promote live events such as agent activities, community involvement, charity events, and open houses.
- **Trend Monitoring**: Stay updated on social media trends, particularly in real estate marketing.
- **Video Production**: Create compelling social media videos for agents.
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Use social analytics to build reports and provide actionable recommendations.
- **Promotion**: Enhance listings and agent profiles through various media channels.
- **Campaign Management**: Develop and manage online paid marketing campaigns (Google, Facebook, Instagram) with a focus on lead generation.
- **Marketing Integration**: Incorporate corporate marketing materials into agents' social media and marketing efforts.
- **Design Work**: Create marketing materials, graphics, and print designs (business cards, postcards, posters, door hangers).
- **Resource Utilization**: Access and leverage RE/MAX resources.
- **Social Media Setup**: Ensure the proper setup and functionality of social media accounts.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proficiency with graphic design software (Adobe Suite, Canva)
- Basic photography/videography skills for social media purposes
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role managing social media
- Proven ability to manage multiple social media accounts with creativity and accuracy
- Strong storytelling skills across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube)
- Self-motivated team player with excellent time management skills
- Experience in mobile video or animation is a plus
- Degree in communications, journalism, PR, marketing, graphic design, or a related field preferred

**How to Apply**:
**Job Details**:

- **Pay**: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
- **Benefits**: Dental care, extended health care, on-site parking, vision care
- **Flexible Language Requirement**: French not required
- **Schedule**: 8-hour shift (9 am-5 pm), Monday to Friday
- **Location**: Halifax, NS (reliable commute or relocation required)
- **Experience**: 1-2 years in marketing, Adobe Creative Suite

Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
