The **Creative Operations Manager** plays an essential role in **growing talent** in our business through collaboration and sharing best practices with the Creative team and Brand. You know how to **be curious** about their opportunities, and how to **be real** with feedback and support.

Working closely with the Creative Director, the **Creative Operations Manager** is an integral partner in ensuring the successful delivery of and responsible for all elements of production coming out of our Creative team, including schedules, project and production management, process, project plans, risk and needs assessments, budgets, and quality assurance. In this role, you will provide leadership, guidance, and education to the Creative team, as well work collaboratively cross-functionally across the organization to ensure our brand creative is elevated and syndicated across all touch points.

The** Creative Operations Manager** will help develop and refine our foundational creative processes, production, and resourcing to support critical brand deliverables. You will help effectively manage and oversee projects through the use of appropriate resources and processes, and will be expertly versed in determining workflow steps involving the Creative team's execution all the way to final production and delivery.

Reporting to the Creative Director, the Creative Operations Manager undertakes the following

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Functional and operational oversight of Creative team production, including Graphics, Quality Assurance, Copy, Translation, Film and Photography for all local and global production
- Assists the Creative Director on forward planning for future success, including operational staffing, and process as it relates to the creative department, services and capabilities
- Assists the creative director in the development and execution of large-scale, integrated branded projects such as marketing campaigns, video/motion, experiential activations, social media or a combination of these element
- Promote continual improvement and actively contributes to a culture of creative innovation excellence and accountability
- Supports the creative director in the smooth running of the creative team accountable for multiple projects to be delivered on time and within budget
- Assists the creative director in managing the creative team budget and resource planning with external vendors and internal departments as needed
- Supports our brand guidelines to ensure that Lush remains true to who** **we are
- Accountable oversight for Graphics, Quality Assurance and Translation team
- Manage, develop, and actively engage direct reports to achieve their personal and professional goals and targets with Lush Cosmetics
- In partnership with Creative Director, maintain, evolve, and elevate company initiatives including campaigns, core merchandising asset function (design, photo and video assets that support advertising, production, and eCommerce business), and digital asset management
- Contribute to Creative and Brand operational and marketing strategy to meet department and company-level objectives, with core responsibility for tactical execution of creative
- Collaborative oversight of Creative team workflow in partnership with Brand marketing leadership
- Continuously improve Creative team operational best practices and ongoing system improvements including socializing these as required with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate and work collectively with Lush's product teams on launches, special projects and updates. Schedule and oversee the timely production of all launch creative and ensure information is up-to-date and assets are accurately represented and produced
- Create and manage detailed schedules, ensuring proper team allocation, project plans and hours budgeted for all project deliverables, working in partnership with the project management team.
- Select and communicate with external vendors regarding creative projects
- Oversee all final creative work to ensure accuracy, timing and budget adherence
- Communicate to all business levels on progress, risks, successes, challenges, resourcing requirements and changes to priorities
- Balance department expectations, business needs, and resources to ensure correct prioritization of cross-functional demands on the Brand department
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish, ensuring successful project completion against deadlines
- Estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources accordingly, including supporting the Creative Director on budget management and tracking
